Frequently asked questions

How do I get started?

Connect with us for a consultation. We will talk through your situation, answer your questions, and help you figure out the right next step, with no pressure and no obligation.

How do we support recovery?

We support recovery by staying involved in every part of the process, not just one piece of it. That can mean helping coordinate treatment placement, providing companion support day to day, arranging drug and alcohol testing for accountability, or simply being the steady point of contact who keeps everyone, from providers to family members, on the same page. Our goal is to remove the guesswork and logistics so you or your loved one can focus on healing.

How are you different than others?

Most support ends the moment a program does. We built Every Step Collective around a simple idea: real progress happens between the big moments, not just during them. Instead of handing you off from provider to provider, we stay with you through the everyday steps, the follow up calls, the small decisions, the moments that don't make it into a treatment plan but matter just as much. Every step forward deserves support, and that's exactly what we're here for.

Where do you provide services?

We proudly serve Orange County, Los Angeles County, the Inland Empire, and San Diego County, with plans to grow into more communities across California and, eventually, nationwide. Wherever you're located, reach out, we're happy to talk through what support could look like for you.

What is a case manager?

A case manager is your single point of contact through treatment and beyond. They build out a full plan for your care, connect you to the right resources such as therapists, psychiatrists, outpatient programs, or sober living, and stay in regular contact with both providers and family so nothing gets missed.

Day to day, that can include advocating on your behalf, helping with things like housing, employment, or school enrollment, coordinating drug testing, tracking progress over time, and adjusting the plan as needs change. In short, a case manager keeps every piece of your care working together instead of you having to manage it all yourself.
